AT EL JIRI ECOLODGE

“El Jiri Ecolodge”, a unique of its kind, is located inside Cotapata National Park, in Charobamba community, within Nor Yungas province, Pacallo canton (La Paz – Bolivia) at just 2 hours and 45 minutes from La Paz city by the new road Cotapata - Santa Bárbara.

“El Jiri Ecolodge” is the perfect place to come back to nature because of its quietness and respect for the environment. Most of the travel is made by vehicle from La Paz City however the last 30 minutes are made by hiking, avoiding vehicular access in an effort to preserve the ecosystem.

“El Jiri Ecolodge” offers a full program services and not only an accommodation and meal based programs, this services include various adventure, eco & agro tourism, hiking, viewpoints, hanging bridges, bird & wild life watching activities.

“El Jiri Ecolodge” offers also interactive activities with the community in the elaboration process of coffee and/or chocolate from the basic fruit or seeds to the final product.

At the moment “El Jiri Ecolodge” can hold up to 12 people distributed in:

• 01 matrimonial cabin
• 01 doble cabin
• 02 quadruple cabins

As from March we’ll increase the capacity of the Lodge up to 24 people distributed in:

• 02 matrimonial cabins (01 matrimonial bed per cabin)
• 01 twin cabin (02 simple beds)
• 01 familiar cabin (01 matrimonial bed + 03 simple beds)
• 02 quadruple cabins (04 simple beds per cabin)
• 01 quintuplet cabin (05 simple beds)

Every cabin has a private bathroom, hot water and electricity to make your stay comfortable also they can be modified into simple or triple cabins as per your request.

In addition “El Jiri Ecolodge” has a natural swimming pool, a grill area, vegetable and orchard garden, camp fire, minibar, and a dining area.
